In my current Kick Ass obsession I have decided to draw comicized (is that even a word? most likely not!) versions of some of the character's from the movie. Mindy/Hit Girl being my favorite, is my first out of the few. This is a WIP of Mindy. I mainly scanned this up so I would have a copy of the pencil drawing, just in case I screw up in the inking process. I am practicing my comic book/manga style since My husband (Iain) & I both have ideas for comic books that we'd like to put to action asap. Next I will do Hit Girl, and then I will attempt to do Kick Ass. I'm not so great at drawing guys, but I have to practice! Btw this is my first successful comic book style of a younger girl! Yay! Sorry about the crappy water mark! I'd rather not have my artwork high jacked!
At some point when I get my new laptop I will do a colored version of this with my Wacom, as I need practice with that as well!
We should get working on our comics soon! xx
